Evergreen Resort – Spruce Golf Course photos

Met up with the Up Mid Kid on a fall Saturday for a round halfway between us. What a great find! We made a lot of assumptions about the resort and course partially based on age and also on location. It is off the beaten path in Cadillac, but is easy to find. Although the resort itself looks a little dated (but still nice), the course was in great shape, was fun and definitely had some challenging holes. Word to the wise, the turn between holes 9 and 10 are not anywhere near the clubhouse. But, they do have a snack shack by the 11th hole. Before heading out for your round confirm the snack shack will be open, or stock up before leaving the pro shop.

Evergreen Resort offers stay and play packages that include not their 18 hole course the Spruce and also their 9 hole Norway course. We didn’t stay this time, but are planning on booking a weekend there next year. Other Cadillac courses are a short drive if you want to get more than 27 holes in.

Read about our round and the fun we had and the challenges we faced in a future issue of Golf Up North Newsletter. Make sure you don’t miss an issue by clicking on Golf Up North Newsletter and subscribing to our monthly newsletter.
