Stumpy Lake Golf Course

Stumpy Lake Golf Course is the course I play almost every time I visit my son in Virginia Beach. The course isn’t far from his house, can always get a decent tee time for one of the days I will be there and it is fun course. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones and is in the the middle of a 1400 acre nature preserve with a 278 acre lake. You can golf, fish, canoe and take a 1.5 mile hike all from the same place. The course is an older course that opened in 1958 but has been well maintained and the club house and staff are great!
