We made it to Northport in Michigan’s Little Finger on the Leelanau Peninsula in early September to play Northport Creek Golf Course. A small local 9 hole course that we had heard good things about. Heads up they do not sell alcohol, bring a cooler but they do have a small ice machine.
The course was designed by Jerry Matthews and he focused on the natural contours and beauty of the old farm land to suggest the course flow. Northport Creek is also the first solar powered golf course in the country!
