Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club is a golf resort located in Arcadia in Northwest Michigan. It sits on the bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan. The golf course boasts spectacular views of the water from many of its holes.
The resort features two championship golf courses: The Bluffs Course and The South Course. The Bluffs Course is the original course and the one we golfed at. The course is known for its dramatic, cliff-top views and challenging layout. It has been ranked among the top public golf courses in the United States by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine.
The South Course is a more traditional layout that winds through a forested area and has a links-style feel. It was designed by golf course architect Dana Fry, who also helped design The Bluffs Course. I have not golfed this course and would like to on our next trip there.
Arcadia Bluffs offers more than golf, there are a variety of amenities for guests. The property includes a clubhouse, restaurant, bar, pro shop, practice facilities, and lodging. The resort has both on-site and off-site accommodations. You can choose a room or suite in the Lodge at Arcadia Bluffs. If you prefer more privacy there are cottages and homes available for rent.
Arcadia Golf Club has been on my bucket list since I started golfing. Most Northern Michigan golfers have heard about The Bluffs and the greens, the challenge, the views, the food, the scarce tee times, and the price. That last one was always what would make me hesitate when we would talk about trying to book a tee time. A little rich for my blood, but I looked at it as a one and done adventure if I was ever able to get a chance.
Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club is a must-visit destination for any avid golfer looking for a challenging and scenic golf experience in Northern Michigan.

The course has its challenges but as mentioned before even for those of us that are newer to the game the course provided enough successful holes that the blow-up holes are a distant memory, and I would definitely golf the course again.
