Our goal is to publish our newsletter bi-monthly on the 1st and 15th of the month April – September and monthly on the 1st of the month October – March.

Northwest Lower Peninsula

Antrim Dells

Antrim Dells Golf CourseAntrim Dells is an 18-hole, par 72 public course in Ellsworth, Michigan and part of the A-Ga-Ming Golf Resorts. Designed by Jerry Matthews and Bruce Matthews in 1971. The course features 3 sets of tees for a player friendly experience. The course measures 6622 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 125 and 72.1 USGA rating.

This course is a true Up North experience. Carved through the hardwoods with heather and trout streams and ponds on the property. You are surrounded with the natural beauty and spectacular Lake Michigan views, Antrim Dells has been a favorite northern Michigan course for over 40 years.

Antrim Dell’s practice facilities include a driving range, chipping and putting greens. Certified PGA professionals offer private instructions, playing lessons and clinics.

They accepts most major credit cards and proper golf attire is required. The Sunset Grill with a full bar offers an extensive lunch and dinner menu and offers expansive views from the dining room and deck overlooking the golf course.

Stay and play packages are available with 3 onsite accommodation options. Golf packages offer choices of 4 18-hole courses.

Northeast Lower Peninsula

Black Lake Golf Club

Black Lake Golf ClubBlack Lake Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 public course in Onaway, Michigan. Designed by national acclaimed architect Rees Jones in 2000. The course features 5 sets of tees for a fun experience for golfers of all skill levels. The course measures 7046 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 143 and 74.8 USGA rating.

Many courses have two or three signature holes, every hole at Black Lake Golf Club could easily be on the front cover of a magazine. The is owned by the UAW and was designed to be an environmentally responsible, championship caliber course. The layout incorporates natural wetland, native sand pits, several ponds and is framed by mature hardwoods and evergreens. A pristine course with abundant wildlife.

Black Lake’s practice facilities include a double-sided driving range, four chipping and putting greens, and several practice bunkers. Certified PGA professionals offer private instructions, playing lessons and clinics.

Black Lake accepts most major credit cards. Lockers are available for rent and proper golf attire is required. There is also a clubhouse with a dining room and lounge that offers a spectacular setting to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner or your favorite beverage after your round.

Stay and play packages are available with accommodations in the “old Lodge”, hotel-style Upper Lodge Conference Center or a selection of condominiums and apartments. Tour golf packages include golf rounds at Black Lake and other area courses.

Upper Peninsula Michigan

Easter Upper Peninsula

Munoscong Golf Club

Munoscong Golf ClubMunoscong Golf Club opened in 1964 and is an 18-hole, par 72 public course in Pickford, Michigan. The course features 4 sets of tees for players of all levels. The course measures 6074 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 118 and 68.6 USGA rating.

The golf course is non-profit and offers a challenging round of Eastern Upper Peninsula golf. Often described as a gem in the middle of nowhere because of the friendly atmosphere and a dedicated ground crew that keeps the course in excellent shape.

The course’s practice facilities include a driving range, chipping and putting greens. Pro shop staff who work hard to make your experience enjoyable.

Munoscong accepts most major credit cards. They offer many weekly specials and are extremely flexible to host group outings.

Central Upper Peninsula

Greywalls Golf Course

Greywalls Golf CourseGreywalls Golf Course, part of Marquette Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 public course in Marquette, Michigan. Designed by Mike DeVries in 2005. The course features 5 sets of tees for unforgettable rounds. The course measures 6828 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 144 and 73 USGA rating.

The holes at Greywalls weave through woodlands and past jagged, granite outcrops with fairways over broken and difficult terrain. The course offers panoramic views of Lake Superior with valleys and plateaus of granite rock formations. You will be surprised at the playability and walkability of a course built on such extreme ground. The course will challenge you from beginning to end and your will enjoy every second of it. Be sure to pay close attention to the 16th hole, referred to by locals as the devil’s a**hole.

The course’s practice facilities include a driving range and putting greens and proper golf attire is required. A teaching pro is on staff for instruction.

Greywalls accepts most major credit cards. The clubhouse offers a diverse menu with a full bar. Enjoy a local brew on tap or your favorite beverage and a meal or snack inside or on the deck overlooking the course.

Western Upper Peninsula

Gogebic Country Club

Gogebic Country ClubGogebic Course opened in 1922 and is an 18-hole, par 71 public course in Ironwood, Michigan. The course features 3 sets of tees offering stunning views. Gogebic Course measures 6030 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 113 and 67 USGA rating.

The course has tree-lined fairways bordered by a cut of rough with water hazards on 3 holes. Stunning views on a fun and challenging course in the Western Upper Peninsula. Gogebic Course offers a relaxed and picturesque experience and if you are there in the fall you see spectacular color throughout the course.

The course’s practice facilities include a putting green and lockers are available in the beautiful stone clubhouse.

Gogebic Country Club accepts most major credit cards. The clubhouse has 3 stone fireplaces, scenic views of the course and surrounding area with a bar lounge.
