The Wolverine Golf Course at Grand Traverse Resort is renowned for its picturesque setting and challenging layout. It is one of three championship golf courses available at the resort, with the other two being The Bear and Spruce Run.
The Wolverine Golf Course was designed by Gary Player and is known for excellent conditions and attention to detail. We found it to be a unique golfing experience with rolling fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
We booked a Northern Michigan Golf weekend at the Grand Traverse Resort in the Traverse City area in October and golfed the Spruce Run and the Wolverine Courses. The weather mainly cooperated only raining when we were not on the course. The misty/foggy mornings has the tower looking ghostly in some pictures. Appropriate for October.
