We visited the The Dunes Golf Course in Empire on a hot June day. The course is off of M-72 on the Leelanau Peninsula. It is built into the middle of the woods and nicely secluded. Although there were other golfers there, we didn’t notice them. The course is laid out well with solid forested buffers between holes.
